The Coronation Line
This is an important midsummer sunrise alignment associated with the sovereignty of this land. Amongst other places, it takes three sites connected to the process of coronation: The King Stone at Kingston-on-Thames, Westminster Abbey and St. Paul’s. We will start at St. Paul’s church yard (north side) and learn some of the lesser-known history of St, Paul’s. Then we’ll walk the alignment to the NE visiting a series of interesting sites and ending at a quite remarkable one, an ancient mound disguised as a traffic island in Shoreditch. On the way we will attune to the sun-king energy of the alignment and to the spirit of place at several of the sites. This is a day for awakening the King who sleeps within the land. Afterwards, you can end the day with coffee, tea or a late lunch and shopping at nearby Spitalfields Market. Meet at the Queen Anne statue in front of St. Paul’s main entrance. 11am, Saturday 20th June.
London’s Camelot
A visit to the mysterious Camlet Moat in the woods of North London. Definitely a place of vision and inspiration. It was one of the sites which triggered the Earthstars discovery and is known to have been called Camelot at least 30 years before Mallory’s Morte D’Arthur made the name famous. A day for learning some of the secrets of this ancient place and mysteries of the Grail. Is it really an oracular shrine? Will we see Guinevere, or The White Lady of Camelot’s holy well? Will we discover the Grail ? Meet at Trent Park Cafe (10 mins from Cockfosters Tube) 11.am July 25th.
London’s sacred hills
Parliament Hill and Primrose Hill are two of London’s most important sacred hills. London’s equivalent of Glastonbury Tor and Chalice Hill. We’ll begin this walk at Parliament Hill with an exploration of its hidden temple, then move via other interesting spots, to Boudicca’s mound where we can offer a blessing to the warrior queen. From there. we’ll walk to a source of the river Fleet, where we’ll perform a cleansing and healing ritual and offer a blessing to be carried by the waters as they flow beneath London. We’ll end the pilgrimage in the grounds of Kenwood House with a short closing ceremony, followed by tea and cakes in the Kenwood cafe. Meet at the top of Parliament Hill (just look for the kites) at 11 am. Saturday August 15th.
Earthstars N-S axis
A walk down part of the main N-S axis of the Earthstars Temple, through Green Park to Westminster Cathedral, visiting three different places of power along the line including the mysterious and magical circle of 13 trees. At each site, we’ll explore different techniques to attune to the spirit of place, appropriate for each one.
The London Stone Axis
London Stone is the City’s foundation stone and it’s on one of the alignments of the Earthstars pentagram. We’ll follow this alignment (and others) taking in several interesting spots, including St. Dunstan in the West, The Temple Church, Fountain Court, the crypt of St. Bride’s, St Mary Aldermary and The London Stone, which we will celebrate by giving it a blessing. The walk will finish at St. Paul’s. Meet outside Somerset House to begin the walk at St. Mary Le Strand church, 11.45 for 11 am, Sat September 19th.09.
All walks in this leaflet must be booked and paid for in advance.
Numbers are limited to keep the groups to a manageable size. If there’s a huge demand, the walk can be repeated on the following day (Sunday).
In the case of showers, bring brollies and macs. Heavy rain might mean we postpone the walk for a better day. So make a note of Chris’ mobile number to check. Most walks are a mile or more and so are not suitable for the infirm. Cost for each walk is £20 per person.
Chris Street is available as a personal guide for small groups or individuals wishing to visit sacred sites and discover their hidden dimensions, or for talks and workshops. Email for details.
To book for any of the walks, email Chris at starman144@hotmail.com.
